An exciting project that Childs & Co was asked to work on in 2018/2019 was to create a space saving interior for a van conversion.

The van interior was a bespoke project build to house; motorcycles, bed, bathroom, kitchen and storage. Space saving was a priority for this project. The top cupboards were cnc’d incorporating a tambur rolling door. The remaining panels were made to fit in line with the van design. The material used for the project was veneered plywood, which was specialist already finished board. The veneered plywood has a hard wearing finish - great for this type of project. For an additional feature, the panels were edged with fumed oak to add attention to detail and protect the plywood.
