This April edition of In The Making is brought to you by a very special range: the beech breadboards.

These boards have been loved by so many customers over the years, and I particularly enjoy getting messages from those who’ve had them a decade or more, bought for a special occasion like a wedding, and used daily since.

They’re certainly made to last, and I couldn’t do that without Danny the woodturner’s help.

Once the beech has been turned by Danny into small and medium sizes (13” and 14” wide), it’s ready to be engraved with your choice of words or details.

Over the years, I’ve made them for weddings, anniversaries, big birthdays and new homes. They’re a great way to commemorate a special occasion, as well as adding some hand-crafted style to your kitchen or dining table.
